Fruits….check, water….check, lettuce and other vegetables….check!

My husband and I have decided that now is a good time to add a new member to our family. However, before we get too excited,(wink wink) there is one thing I need to do…lose weight! I consider myself a very disciplined person when it comes down to losing weight, when there is a sole purpose (not that doing it just for my health should be purpose enough, but where’s the fun in that?). I easily lost 30 pounds for my wedding, and I started to do it last year, before I made the decision to be Angie’s surrogate. So now I’m out of excuses and it’s time to crack the whip! (which is not a bad idea literally..wink wink!) So what’s my goal? 20-30 pounds, in a month and a half…I know… it sounds like the impossible, but I’m going to become one with the treadmill, the treadmill will know my thoughts and I hers! With the motivation beaming from my husband, as well as our desired month of conception rapidly approaching, I will eat, sleep, dream, and thirst for my ever so dusty treadmill.
As far as my eating habits, I will return to the only diet that has ever given me results…Weight Watchers. Don’t get me wrong, like any diet, the first week on the Points system is bloody murder. At times I can be so hungry, my arm starts to look very appetizing, but I know it’s all in my carb loving mind! I hope to get great results following the Points system, and I am excited to start on my new adventure. So with the treadmill by my side during the day, and the whip by our side during the night, my plan should work out for the best!

That’s some goal you’ve got there girlfriend!
Actually, I just got my lard ass back to the gym this afternoon and started counting my points again this morning. I’m looking to shed 15 pounds in the quickest possible fashion and the points system is definitely the way to go. I’m hoping for a minimum of 3 pounds of weight loss this week, starting today.

Keep posting on your progress! I couldn’t think of a better reason to diet! Good luck!
