My name is Angie Lavigat.  Born and raised in New York, I am the oldest of four children.  My nurturing instincts led me to take on the parental role of my two loving brothers, and an equally loving sister.  I was, and still am, a second mom to them.  I adore my Mom and my siblings very much.  We always remain a united family, and because of them I am a strong person today.

 

I’m a business woman in the Healthcare field. The passion that I possess for my work is one of my strongest assets. My interests include family gatherings, cooking, making jewelry, and dancing. 

 

I met my husband in 1992.  For many years we have faced, and continue to face infertility.  We tried all the basic medical techniques, as well as the state-of-the-art technology, In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).  Faith in eachother, and God, guided us through many blessings and challenges.  We have a Teacup Maltese named Pebbles who gives us unconditional love and will always be part of our family. 

 

 

For the first time, I will share intimate details of our IVF journey, which also includes our Gestational Surrogate process with Valeria, and our new journey towards Adoption.  All we have endured, the emotional and mental aspect, and the physically and financial rollercoaster.  I have chosen to share my story to inspire, give hope, and educate others who are facing similar paths.
